"Are you following Christ as a means to an end or as a means for eternity?"
Last night a wonderful sister asked this question at lifegroup. Essentially what she meant by this was, are you chasing after the Lord with the hopes of achieving something as a result of your faith? Examples include being more popular, getting a good job, being a "better" person, or finding that special someone. OR, are you chasing after the Lord because you are convinced that what you do will matter for eternity and you will be spending that eternity with the Lord?
....Just something to think about. It really challenged me!
